Hive is the base layer & full decentralization & security are required. LEO is working towards creating a decentralized environment in Layer 2, seeing that SMT are still far away and we can't 'rely' on Hive-Engine. It has been a great tool to kickstart LEO, but nowadays we need better infrastructure to work on. That infrastructure will be built on HIVE, so we're relying again on the base layer. LBI will be (is) a centralized project at their infancy. Give it a few months/couple of years and you'll see how further this machine goes.
