The most likely path will be power generation.  The [World Nuclear Association](https://www.world-nuclear.org/information-library/nuclear-fuel-cycle/uranium-resources/military-warheads-as-a-source-of-nuclear-fuel.aspx) reports that this practice has been in play for quite some time now.  There are talks for using these weapons in space, but given the stigma of nuclear power, it will be some time before they do so with a quantity above what's needed for a satellite.  Even that amount causes drama.
