Al Pacino's having a baby? Aww! 😂 I often wonder about those columns, they're like eating sugar, leave you feeling empty afterwards. I'm annoyed each time I'm duped into reading them. I prefer the recipes 😍. Thinking is a challenge: I've just been through it this weekend. Working out exactly what the problem is and then what I want to do about it. The answer, interestingly, is nothing. The other choices were to run with the herd which is in a frenzied FOMO, or make a stand when no-one is listening. It helped me clarify my own direction and decisions, though, maybe that's all that we can hope for.

I don't know why they are so attractive, but I think part of it is that they trigger a response to support or condemn - they are not there just to give information. > It helped me clarify my own direction and decisions, though, maybe that's all that we can hope for. And in so doing, you become master of your own destiny - or at least, *slave* to your own destiny :)
