I am sorry about your daughter, I didn't know that. I count myself lucky to not have experienced that, but I have done what I could to prepare - though it is impossible. We are defined by out hardships, not our successes. Some become bitter and never recover, some become enlightened and never suffer. Neither position is painless. When it comes to investing, better to have tried and failed, than to have failed without trying.
