This is a lovely question, but it almost requires a post. The trouble is, we can only comment about the existing cards. They are generally expensive now. The new cards that will be released in about 2 months are unknown, So the new player is between a rock and a hard place. For now, I recommend the starters and some basic rentals depending on your level. If you mention your specific level, I maybe able to recommend some rentals
