yep, I think this combination strategy change (was well in place by the time I came in) has been a huge shift in generating scarcity. I think that people are also now considering what it might mean for land. Will combined cards be useful there?

That is the current speculation. 'To Cultivate' land, most people think it will require max cards. Meaning a L10 Common will yield more than a L9 common. A L2 Rare will yield more than a L2 Common. And so on and so forth.

I hope this land thing (considering the lack of clarity) doesn't fizz, as people have been paying some pretty extreme amounts for plots - myself included.
