Crazy, isn't it? Perhaps it is party Stockholm syndrome, but I also think that it is peer pressure. Most people do, what they think others are doing.

>Mind control is hella effective over in those parts.

They have all the data and tools they need. Many people think that they are "too smart to fall for the tricks" but don't realize that behind every click point, there are a team of hundreds of behavioral psychologists designing the gamification layer.

>What is even more mind boggling is I know people over here on Hive who've been here since the old chain still spending copious amounts of time on the fakebook and toting these same mantras, minus the last one.. lol.

They dropped half a red pill, but took two blue with it.

>Twitter I see as a good resource for spreading crypto news, but I certainly do not spend much time on it. I'll pop in for a like and retweet on a crypto project.. That's about it lol.

Twitter is interesting in many respects - as they tend to struggle to monetize in the same way as the other platforms. Short content and the speed of flow I think is to blame. It doesn't hold the attention long enough on one point.

>Sometimes we just have to take a chance when we see an opportunity.

That is a really interesting story mate and yeah - sometimes it is just taking a chance. For me, it was a chance on my time and effort to begin with. I poured so much of myself into this chain with no guarantee it was ever going to take me anywhere at all. "Faith and crossed fingers"

>They will either make the transition or be left behind. I empathize to a degree, but we can only lead the ~~sheep~~ horse to water.

They will say, "why didn't you tell me again". I have had it already many times with people who I have earnestly tried multiple times to get them just to look. Eventually, they will all move over - but while earlier they had an opt-in choice on an emerging industry, later it will be forced as the only option.

>Great article as always, I find it hard to keep up with all your great posts and have been super busy lately but I'm doing my best.

I know the dramas of life. It is all good and I am glad for a comment every now and again - don't stress!
