Yeah - I think it's all that hey-shoo-wow hippy dippy stuff and helicopter parenting. We've gone soft, haven't matured properly because too cushioned and unrealistic... and it's now showing big time 👍

Mainstream social media also encourages it horribly. So well said on all counts.

Everybody gets to be a rock star for a day. At whatever the cost.

Except no consequences much so nobody bottoms out, figures out what really *is* important and becomes a guiding light for others... or dies before they do.

Bring back stoicism and philosophy. Intelligent and tolerant debate. 

You can't do that in 144 characters or whatever. Without eye contact and meta communication.

And put so-called modern "spirituality" to rest already.
