My guess is we are dealing with a timing thing.  DeFi requires infrastructure.  That simply is not built.

The industry needs to stop focusing upon price go up and build stuff that counters what Wall Street is doing.  Ironically, all value is driven by network effects.

That's so true! Biggest piece of infra we need is fiat on/off ramp. Once we get more direct crypto acceptance - we can depend less on TradFi. >Ironically, all value is driven by network effects. Huge network can also make P2P easy for everyone. Right now P2P is a tiny niche. Bring enough money & sellers..... we've got ourselves a parallel economy less influenced by bankers.
