Litecoin is in a tough spot. It seems like it is dead. There was a time when it was a leading coin with a bright future. We now see the addition of MimbleWimble. This adds a privacy layer. Will that woo investors? I think it will attract investors who want to build but in the long term, since everyone at the beginning did not know bitcoin and did not believe in it, but now it is the most important currency in the market. That's tough to hear about Litecoin, an altcoin just as criminally undervalued as Hive. It even offers something Hive doesn't (privacy). If metrics show that LTC is doomed, then so be it. But if the fundamentals are right but it's just not getting any love, then LTC is worth whatever investment a discerning investor is willing to make in it. Short-term, I have other priorities. Long-term, I see myself acquiring more LTC. The #1 magic number is 21 million, and it's for BTC. The #2 magic number should be 84 million, and it is for LTC. My experience with LTC was when it was in the USD price range of 110 to 165. At the moment it's over USD 63. I'm not sure if I should divert some of what I have to CUB and CAKE to take advantage of the sales there and then backfill LTC when it drops to lower prices, or just buy more LTC and CUB and CAKE directly using my stablecoin strategy (get the stablecoins off the centralized exchange first). I control the wallet for my LTC, and the LTC I have isn't much. I can use Hive Engine to swap the LTC for BNB and take it from there to PancakeSwap and Cub Finance. This will take a few steps, but I can do it during free time. If I go with my stablecoin strategy, I have to wait for transactions to clear before I can offload the stablecoins to wallets I control. This will take a few days. The way the markets are behaving these days, I may just take the LTC I have to buy more CUB and CAKE and on another occasion backifill LTC with stablecoins. Even if the price of LTC goes up during this period, it will be much cheaper than what I had paid for it in the past.
