Hive is much different than YouTube. On there, it is the algorithm that drives what is seen for the most part. Here we have a different system. That said, YouTube removing downvotes was another way to try and cover the agendas they want to promote. When videos get a huge number of downvotes. it tells others what is being touted is not liked/disagreed with by a lot of people.
