MagicLab has unveiled its first-generation dexterous hand, the MagicHand S01, boasting 11 degrees of freedom (DoF) in a single hand.

Equipped with force-position control and integrated current and tactile perception, the device can perform complex tasks like grasping, holding, and dual-finger operations with remarkable agility.

According to the firm, with a hand load capacity of up to 11 pounds (5 kilograms) and the ability to carry over 44 pounds (20 kilograms) in work environments, the S01 is designed to meet diverse application needs across industrial, commercial, and home settings.

In December 2024, the Chinese robotic startup MagicLab introduced a fleet of collaborative humanoids at a factory for job training.
