The things humans do all in the name of money or money making can be baffling to the ear at times.

Also, like you said money gives freedom. Yes! It does. For example, the tertiary institutions' teachers on strike now has been something that has been in existence even before most of the students were born. But it is largely due to the fact that the parents or sponsors do not have what it takes financially to send their children to private tertiary institutions. Hence, we stay put and still go to the strike-ridden federal schools!!
