Completely agree. I don't get it either. I think music can be tremendously healing and help bring us together and de-isolate us when we're at our worst, so I'm sure some fans of TS fall into that category. Others, it's probably just a fad. I know it's like that for kids and teens, who seem to be her primary audience, anyway. We all just wanna belong, and if Taylor Swift's the price for belonging... it's not such a bad price, after all. 

Good on you for trying to get it, I think. Most people just go *nah* and don't bother. :)
