aw so cute 💗 love the pics!!! 

We once said we would renew our vows on our 10th wedding anniversary. Instead, we flew to the channel islands for a long weekend and hired a motorbike, and toured Jersey together... and that trip was 13 years ago !LOLZ ... maybe one day... 😂💞

We did semi-write our own vows though for our wedding... it was a mix 'n match... but we chose the mix and the match.

We got married in our front garden with a bunch of friends and family in attendance. We flew our minister in from Cape Town (*she had moved from Durban the year before*). A friend of my brother played Dj for us. Another friend provided the drinks from his nightclub. A family member provided the *tents*, tables, and chairs... It was chilled... and fun! Our best man was down on all fours at one stage scrambling for the wedding rings that he dropped onto the grass just as the minister asked for them to be handed over. Some amusing memories. Or friends decorated our tree swing for us which intertwined flowers which made for some memorable wedding pics. 

I love your updated personal wedding vows. Personally, I think the crossed-out lines are a *definite* to include...  🤣

Your wedding sounds so much like ours! Everyone coming together to make it special without the crazy costs...

And a trip for an anniversary.... How lovely. We are always having adventures together so I don't mind if we miss our anniversary so much. 

Lol, he rolled his eyes ate when I suggested we renew our vows. We have too much other things to do, and he's right. No shortage of love regardless!!

Oh and that dress cost me £50, charity shop shoes, a fancy braid and some irises .. now why would people spend thousands on a wedding?

Perfect choice 💗My hubby's stepmom made my dress - I bought the fabrics and she made it as her wedding gift to us ❣️ Yeah, we decided early on that we were not spending a fortune on our wedding! When the estranged *outlaws* started to make demands on seating arrangements and invites, we drew the line and made it a more informal affair - suited us perfectly!!! We had so much fun haha... and didn't start married life with a debt hanging around our necks. And the renewal of vows... not necessary under the circumstances... we know how we feel. It's enough 💞 !LUV !ALIVE
