The muscle and sinew is still there, just "protected and insulated" :D We have a friend who's two year old got on skates and pretty much just skated off by himself like he had been doing it for years. Kids have different talents and Smallsteps will likely have to work harder on the physical side, but she is strong on the mental.

I think the work in the house will restore some former semblance :)

Amazing to hear, almost like that 2 year old had a previous life, but some are born with the gift of natural balance.
The strength of her mind will certainly overcome obstacles and it's a good omen for her future.
