You might try a walking meditation. Sometimes if you give the body something to do, it is easier to quiet the thoughts. It is really only necessary that you slow/quiet thought to get the goods from meditation. 

Give yourself a very simple and beautiful path and try to walk it as slow as possible. Also sunset and sunrise is the best time for this. 

Alternatively you can try something like slowly lowering your arms while standing. Just start with a few minutes.
