No we only had wet and dry season XD

While the non-rainy days were spent more or less like yours (as far as being lazy and idyllic and riding bikes and getting around often into places we shouldn't have been are concerned), my mum does love putting on events and so some of our beach trips often involved some very full on and delicious picnic spreads and are some of my favourite memories.

I am from Adelaide originally, but it was this way in Cairns.

For me, it was fish and chips down at the beach on a summer evening. I think they were the best times.

Fish and chips was what we were doing with the kids when they were little as well :) We don't get down to the beach as much now -_-

I think my island is about the same latitude as Cairns so that makes sense XD
