Hey all! I decided to try another post and talk about how my trip to Vegas was. Well, we flew in and had to catch a connecting flight in Denver. It was only about a 90 min layover, so it basically only gave us time to get to the other side of the airport. The flight was fine. No big issues there. We landed in Vegas late Wednesday and got checked into the West Gate. That hotel is only ok. Truth be told, I probably wouldn't stay there again. Everything was so expensive, the rooms weren't that nice, and the elevators for our floor were a nightmare. They were doing repairs on 3 of the 4 elevators and it took forever to get up and down. Anyway, we got our passes for Thursday WrestleCon and walked around. People were still kinda setting up Thursday night but Paige had a super long line. It basically went the entire length of the event center and blocked out a lot of tables lol. She is super over still and I heard she might be heading back to WWE. That would be really cool to see. We were at WrestleCon until it closed that night then we decided to head down to Fremont street since I never went there before. They had a lot to do and there was even a wrestling ring set up in one area and they were setting up for matches. We walked around there for a bit and got some food. There was a burger truck we went to that was pretty good. The price was alright and the food was good. Better than $30 burgers at the West Gate. Yeah, prices were insane there. We stayed out until about 3 am and went to a few independent shows. The crowd was excited for everything but you could also see people were pretty strapped for cash. Not a ton of people buying merch from the wrestlers since they had to spend a bunch of money just to survive the weekend. This wasn't like the last 3 Mania weekends I went to. This one in Vegas was very expensive just cause the price of things in Vegas. Night one, Thursday wasn't so bad, but we didn't do a ton. Oh, my friend did win a couple grand at the casino though so that made for a better Friday for us lol. I'll post about what we did on Friday later, but I just wanted to try this out again and hope you all enjoyed it. If you have questions or anything let me know and thanks for all the help.
