In my place we had a believe that when you dream that someone will die, you prolonged his/her life :) 
But I don't think we can that simply conclude that in every case it means the same. But I think that dreams indeed are connected to our emotional and mental state. Even physical state. For example, when my husband was sick and had fever he had very strange and bad dreams. 

Yes, the organ is a bit old, but you don't want to make your guess with a number? The year when it was made?
