Finding Peace in the Unexpected: My Journey to Dol Ashram
Well, it has been a while since I went out for a trip. Yes, some people from my office often go out for a trip every few months but I am not able to go with them. I don't know why, some work or the other comes up or some other reason occurs due to which I am not able to go. Usually, I call them and whenever I make any plan for YouTube, after that my trip mostly gets cancelled and other people also don't go with me. My tips are mostly unplanned and only then they are successful. This is what happens mostly. Well, I am fond of traveling but yesterday the heat here started getting quite high during the day. Yes, compared to the big cities, the heat is not pleasant but compared to here as well, the heat is increasing and this is not a good thing.

Yesterday was Saturday and initially, I did not have any plans but suddenly during the day I called one of my friends we were a little scared of the city due to some work but on the way we made a plan to go somewhere the distance of the destination from my city was about 35 km so our journey was around 70 km. Believe me the journey was quite fun and we enjoyed it a lot too. Neha did the travelling on a scooter, travelling on a two-wheeler gets a bit tiring but it also has a different joy, if you are going on a short trip then it is also a different fun.


We left home at around noon and reached our destination at around 2:00 PM which was [Dol Ashram](https://www.euttaranchal.com/tourism/dol-ashram.php). After reaching there, we came to know that the temple would open at around 3:00 PM. We had a lot of time. Initially, we were planning to have darshan from outside and leave, but I was not willing to stay so far and leave without having darshan. By the way, there are a lot of temples in the last two places, the main attraction on the idols of Ganesh Ji, Kartik Ji, Shiv Ji, our mother and Hanuman Ji is Shri Yantra. It was very big. The camera was not allowed inside the temple complex, so I kept my friend and my phone in the locker room by paying only 30(INR).

We enjoyed the views till the temple opened, the weather had also deteriorated a lot, then we spent that time in the restaurant there and just like that, by 3:00 the view of the Maa was very beautiful, I have taken some pictures, hope you will like them and there was a lot of crowds there, mostly tourists were there, very few local people go there for development, it is not that they do not go and stay a little far away because people only go there for work, people plan to go there.

While coming back we enjoyed tea and biscuits and from there we got the view of two garlic cloves which was very beautiful. On our way back, we had planned to eat something on the way, but we did not find any food shop on the way. We had planned to have lunch outside, but we realised, there was no such shop on the way where we could sit and eat comfortably. Irshad, we did not go home. While coming back, we spent almost half an hour in the forest. We ate the local fruits of this place, which we also call [Kafal(Myrica esculenta)](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Myrica_esculenta), a little there and brought some home as well. But overall it was a very exciting journey and I enjoyed it a lot. We should take small breaks. We should plan a small trip at least once a week. It refreshes the mind a little.

It's a pretty nice place, the views are very good.
