# Este pequeño se ha colado en mi jardín y es que verlo resulta una experiencia transformadora siendo una especie única en Cuba quien la ha proclamado como Caracol Nacional.

Es conocida comúnmente como "**polymita**" . Considerado el caracol más bello del mundo debido a sus exuberantes colores y **una de las especies más hermosas de la fauna mundial**.

Es hermafrodita pero aún así necesita pareja siendo capaz de poner entre 50 y 60 huevos los cuales eclosionan a los 13 días. No afecta al ecosistema. Se cree que actualmente son menos coloridas como respuesta evolutiva de defenderse ante depredadores. Vive al rededor de 15 meses.
