The little time that I spent on inleo it wasn't really much fun. Almost nothing interesting, a lot of AI-generated content. The data you provide on top of that really made me want to walk away, so I did.

By the way, we have hawkers here, too. A lot of them. From windshield-wipers over huge carpets to big wooden benches, everything is sold by walking and shouting.

I'm not going anywhere, but all of the empty promises are starting to get tiresome.  Hive has so much more potential that most people are appreciating.  That is a good quote. I'm also glad to see you are taking up the Haiku thing.  @dbooster is one of the good eggs in this place.

I was always frustrated that it took 7-8 months to fix post scheduling on the Leo front end.. it broke a few times but thankfully it seems to be working recently.. lol that’s about all I use it for. 

It is unfortunate that people have been going around bashing others after things like this. I got hounded to remove my vote for the return proposal but I didn’t on principle - I need the return to be stronger than it was before. 

I’m glad I don’t get too involved in chain politics though haha. There’s always something!

I made sure i read your post  thoroughly  and  i must say am speechless i mean its hard to defend the guilty  even when he knows he his guilty. The flop about khal is he always creates a project and without perfecting the previous one jump on to the next, a person who has this kinda mindset does not know what he is doing or is just doing it to enrich himself, 

I mean am being plain here, i attended alot of inleo shows last year but when i notced khal unfocused  and failed promises  behaviours i have to stop using inleo and disregard his shows, its better i spend my time improving on myself than wasting it enriching someone else. Its basically annoying the $10 premiumship was the first flop, inleo keeps getting  glitch but it never gets better and this boils down to where does the premiumship money goes to?. I just hope khal realizes  his mistakes and learn from it rather than spending time defending himself and drawing out points

I remember once in a X live that a big account from inleo said that we need numbers and no quality… in that moment he was mentioning about posts …  mostly saying that spam is part of a social network something like that! And now the same group brought the same topic over the accounts… maybe in their minds having million of robots is better than 100 real users having a good engagement and content. 
If we want robots why not keep talking to an AI bot instead losing time here ? I know that this case was merely to get funds for spending more it wasn’t about ideology of bots being better than humans !

In the end everything falls under its own weight, especially false promises and those who are really interested in your projects are in time to check themselves. I was unaware of many things here, I'm glad I stopped by to read. Happy day! 🙏

hey @azircon ! What do you think about retro funding? First you show what you can do, then after proven results you make a retro funding proposal to get paid. If the community sees value, you get paid.

All our code is open source, and we made a generic frontend that any community can have their own frontend for free (I mean 100% free, even hosting) in seconds. We built it all with love, no funding.

I have said, perhaps too many times, that Khal doesn't know what the heck he's doing. I've [pointed it out before](https://peakd.com/hive-167922/@oblivioncubed/why-does-inleo-threads-promote-sub-comments-for-links) and while I'm just a lil fish over here, I'm also a professional developer and a former QA. On some things, I can speak with authority, and in the case of InLeo it's been an utter dumpster-fire since its inception.

They were "live" for months before they could even get their home page to reliably return posts, all while screaming about how great what they were building is. 

If the core functionality you're building *doesn't work reliably*, you're just promoting blind hype. If you don't understand *why* the dumb stuff you're copying straight from web2 look-alikes works the way it does, you shouldn't be making it. 

They've had a "following" tab since inception that *doesn't actually work*. A reasonable person would look at a Following tab and go "oh that's the folks I follow!" but click it on their UI and you'll find plenty of folks you don't follow there. Best I can tell it's either a copy of the home tab (completely unfiltered) OR it's limiting to your subscribed communities - but in either case it's poor UX. These are minor things I'm pointing out but you know who wouldn't make this kind of dumb mistake? Someone who knew what the heck they were DOING. 

Khal is a startup-energy tech-bro hype-man, making flashy nonsense filled with generated bs and calling it a success. 

The best thing the Leo team has ever made is HiveStats. It's the only app that works 100% of the time and it's a fantastic design. 

Everything else has been either explosive failure or just kind of dropped into the background. When was the last time they did anything with leodex? A platform that could actually drip some income into their pockets and yet you look at online stats and the estimated traffic is like 43 people in the last 3 months. TribalDex stats by HiveEngine on the other hand are like 134k. Now, of course, those web stat sites aren't perfect but still. Paints a picture, don't it?
