Oh you know when I wrote this I thought of the US system and how indebted you guys can be if you end up with something serious and aren't covered by insurance. At least we have a good system here, but we did have 'bulk billing' where those on low incomes wouldn't be charged at all. But there's stopping that now so that's a bit of a worry.
