Choosing the right insecticide to kill insects in the crop field

In our land, we are cultivating mustard and the mustard plants are very young which will be more than 10 days old. Armyworm has attacked the mustard plant in this situation which is a matter of concern. The armyworm is cutting down the mustard plants in large numbers, leaving the land barren. It is a massive loss to the farmer and the armyworm insect has become a danger to the farmer. We are looking for a suitable poison to kill this insect but the poison we are buying from the drug stores is not working fully on armyworms. We now need to search for the exact poison so I was reading some articles about it.

An article ([link](https://www.homedepot.com)) that mentions some insecticides for armyworms are bifenthrin, trichlorfon, deltamethrin, gamma-cyhalothrin, and permethrin. So I had to spend a lot more time learning about these insect killers. Pesticides should not be used without knowing whether they are actually effective and whether their use will cause crop damage.

According to [Wikipedia](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bifenthrin), Bifenthrin insecticide belongs to the pyrethroid family. This poison is usually available as a solid, powder, or granule. It remains for 7 days to 8 months when applied to agricultural land. Although it is a strong insecticide I am reluctant to use it because it is solid. I usually look for a liquid insecticide that I can easily spray on mustard plants

When I read [this article](https://archive.epa.gov/pesticides/reregistration/web/html/trichlorfon_fs.html) from the EPA I thought Trichlorfon was an all-rounder insecticide because it is used to kill many types of insects. These insecticides are effective against fish, mole crickets, cattle lice, crickets, sod webworms, leaf miners, water scorpions, stink bugs, flies, ants, giant water bugs, cockroaches, earwigs, diving beetles, water scavenger beetles, water boatman backpackers, caterpillars. , and effective in killing pillbugs, etc. So it can kill armyworms. It is also solid but companies also prepare it as a spray. It can be good medicine to kill armyworms.

Deltamethrin is an effective insecticide, but it is most commonly applied to mosquitoes. Deltamethrin is used as a chemical in making mosquito nets. It is also effective in killing bed bugs. I am not selecting this insecticide because it is not widely used on other insects.

Permethrin is known to be a deadly insecticide. Once you start using it, insects will escape from your life. It has been used successfully for the past 30 years. Insecticides seem to be useful for killing armyworms. It is very effective against mosquitoes. It kills bed bugs beautifully. It is widely used to make mosquito nets. I have my doubts about an insecticide that is not harmful to the plants but to the insects and pests that could plague the plantations. 
In general, what affects one living being will affect all, as a general rule, of course. 
And if we consider the fact that they contaminate soils, it makes it more difficult.

Of course some pesticides and herbicides harm crops. Small loss is accepted to avoid big danger. The soil remains contaminated for several months but is not very effective
