Who is reading the articles of the quality authors? I mean right now the hive community is even smaller than when we was on steem. And that time we had estimated 50k active users. How we wanna grow the community? For sure that there will be spammers but also we can find more content creators and most important people who wanna invest and currate.

Ok and that is all what we have. As i told as far as i know 50k was the active users on steem. So now we have less. So u dont want new people to join hive? New readers, new currators or new investers? More topics maybe? Not just the same people on our trending all the time with the same people voteing them all the time?

Of course we want new authors to join. I’ve looked at Trending and have seen some new authors being there. If they post quality content, of course they’re gonna be on Trending 🤷🏻‍♀️

Who is reading the tweet copied to the hive blockchain seen in the post above? Why wouldn’t they just view it on twitter? Why would anyone post tweets on Hive when the audience is on twitter? How does this bring users in when they don’t even have to be on Hive to use it? I don’t even understand the pie in the sky claims that are being made here. This app copy and pastes tweets from twitter to hive and then tells people to go to twitter.. that’s all it does.

That is just a option. If somebody dont have a twitter acc he can still use it. Justineh i really respect u to be honest but than how would u like to bring more users to hive? As i mentioned most of the people even dont know what is crypto or what is hive. Somehow we have to bring them here. Yes i am sure there will be a lot of spams also but who knows with a proper marketing we can also find new quality content creators as well and also people who will be interested to buy hive so they can support they favourite content creators. What dbuzz want is a feedback and suggestions how they can make this dapp better. Actually my suggestion was to make they own token on Hive-engine and even if the posts will be visible on dbuzz it can still work well because some people like the micro blogging. If u have any suggestion what they should change and how than share with them. But this is cazy that few big accounts can decide what will be on hive and what will be not. This is the same what JS doing now on steem.

> That is just a option. If somebody dont have a twitter acc he can still use it. How if they don’t have a twitter account can they use the service that copies users tweets to their hive account? You are speaking of what this app *could* be, not what it is. I love the idea of an app focused on short form content and onboarding, I don’t currently see that though.. I see an app that copy and pastes tweets to Hive and so I’m commenting on that. > If u have any suggestion what they should change and how than share with them. I have. > But this is cazy that few big accounts can decide what will be on hive and what will be not. No one is deciding what will be on hive. If people are going to run with that then they clearly don’t understand the blockchain and are using false narratives to try to gather support. A stakeholder can do what they want with it and others can counter. No one is deciding “what can be here”. But I see a lot of feedback from many people not really loving the current direction of the app and perhaps if they didn’t want feedback they shouldn’t ask for it.. as it seems they just want to fight all feedback. I don’t care what people do here, but I also don’t have to support it and when I see a false narrative or an app claiming to be something it’s not, I will say so. I’ve given my feedback and stated I don’t support downvoting the app, but also if they are spamming (and they were for a bit) some downvotes should be expected. They asked for feedback, said they would do something, and then did another. It’s not shocking that they would get some pushback from that. Screaming about censorship, hive being dead and other nonsense all over social media probably isn’t helping their case either. > This is the same what JS doing now on steem. Really? Community members saying they don’t like an app that spans the chain (because they had that before) and a couple using their stake to reflect that is the same as what Justin sun is doing on Steem? Really? Seems like a dramatic thing to say to try to spin a false narrative about a situation that is being blown way out of proportion. Seems people don’t like the current app. Maybe they can take the feedback and do something about it. Or they can just continue and see what happens. They aren’t the first app to get backlash for doing something the community doesn’t support and I doubt they will be the last. That’s what decentralization is.. and it’s messy.

>Why wouldn’t they just view it on twitter? Because I don't go to Twitter to read content and it adds to my experience for getting to know people if people can have all their social media in one place. I think the close tie up to Twitter is a flaw with this DApp BUT as a short form, quick tool for social interaction on the chain its excellent. The emphasis again is placed upon talented content creators and authors, and if said people simply want to circle jerk themselves rewards in ever-decreasing circles then please carry on, but some of us read much more than we create and there is less and less worthwhile content of interest to keep me loving in right now.

I would fully support a short form content app on Hive, currently this isn’t one and therefore I won’t judge it based on what it *could* be, but rather what it is. Currently, right now, it copy’s tweets from twitter, posts them to hive and directs people to twitter. That’s what it does, and that’s all it does. So currently I see absolutely no benefit in that and stated so. If and when the app does something different, I’ll judge it based on that.

I'm not having any issues. Those coming here to tweet will tweet, just like they do on twatter. If they wanted high quality content, they wouldn't be there in the first place. Create good content, engage and you'll do just fine here. There's no need to lower standards to grow fast, because slow, steady and creating QUALITY wins the race. Jumping the gun will get you shot in the foot.

But what about the readers? Who consuming the articles? Even nowdays we have a lot of big accounts who are just collecting the curration rewards. Is that okay for hive? If we dont give a chance to onboard new users than we will see the same old content creators like in the past few years and the same people will vote for they contents. To make a dapp like this is nothing, but with proper marketing we can have a userbase even if not content creators but readers. And they can invest also to hive if they understand how it works. But if we dont try we can stay here where we are right now and enjoy the same sh*t every day for the same hive price.
