This is a very interesting theme, @crypto.piotr and @julianhorack - I don't know enough about the technicalities of Steemit to respond to all @crypto.piotr's points but yes, can imagine that any platform based on money/points = power /influence can and will be influenced by people with manipulating tendencies (who have money). But collective, decentralised and horizontal structures have incredible power too, to overcome all manner of power dynamics... When I know more, I'll be able to explain *how*!
