So is meme spam and one liners like "LOL OMG!" and yet people do it all the time.  In fact you'd be hard pressed to tell human from bot if a decent chatter bot were actually pointed here.

Chatter bots are hardly the only kind of bots either.

This is a conversation, you're welcome to participate in it and if you look carefully you can see that I am having a conversation with the bot AND his owner and he's showing off the cool things his bot can do.  In the meantime they were specifically invited here in order to demonstrate that bots are little different than pets.

He just showed you some cool tricks he can do.  You can give him a treat by upvoting if you think that trick is pretty cool.  It's nice in my opinion.  While the "tricks" are not really that impressive at current levels, the platform is brand new and it is here and it is improving.  It won't go away.  

So tell me @pfunk what do you see as the difference between talking to a human or a bot, if that bot can successfully convince you it's human?
