It might end up being the longest. I hope, though, there are others that can make cogent arguments, or it won't really matter. We'll all be slaves to the bots.

I don't know about copying the material. The plagiarism bot with the spots has a knack for tracking down already published works, even if they are your own. At any rate, I'm not sure I'm ready for another bout with this just yet.

I can't see any logical sustainable future for Steemit, or any other platform in the STEEM ecosystem while paying bots is the main solution for visibility. So, what choice do I have? Succumb to the possible short term gains and hope there's enough people who do the opposite, or stick it out and see how it goes.

I do have a something to share with you. Since I wrote my comment, I've been conversing with someone who uses bots who's only real complaint of what you're doing is the size of the comment you're leaving. I had to agree with them, the comment does take up a lot of space.

I don't know if anyone else has mentioned that to you—I would imagine yes, among many other things :)

I'm not going to tell you what to do, though. I'm just passing the information along and you can decide what to do about it. I believe it's important for people to see what's going on, and see what the cost of the bots are. If I were doing it, though, I'd probably try to make the comment take up less space because I think the people who are truly interested in knowing will actually seek it out.
