Thanks @occupywallets, that really means something coming from a colourful soul like you! :) I'm writing a short(ish) philosophy rant right now and will be posting another collage tomorrow! I'm also thinking about posting a music video, you know Marcel Dadi? :)

I used to pick chanterelles in the mountains of Washington state
-> I didn't know that chanterelles also grew wild in North America! I thought they were a European mushroom. Did you live in Washington? If so, lucky! The north west looks amazing! So much wilderness!

@ me for stuff I should see, I just got pulled into helping launch some new websites to sell my art and ideas! And chanterelles, I have seen them up and down the coast of WA, OR, northern CA, and in BC Canada as well... I even saw them in Juneau, AK, but was wary of picking because I didn't have a local with me... But in WA I would pick them on a hike up a mountain, then cook them into the dinner that night as we camped... Great times... (Where are you? I am currently in TX)

that sounds like a pretty sweet venture! thanks, i'll keep you posted on anything interesting :) 

weird how its the same word in french and english for it.. i'm living near Geneva, Switzerland. we get chanterelles and also plenty of ceps and morelles. they're all so good in a cheese fondu. but i've never managed to find mushrooms when camping/trekking though, i have my spots that i go to where i know they grow.

I would marry a woman who could teach me how to pick morels!!!!!!!!!
We had hedgehog mushrooms and some boulletes that we picked, but never morels or truffles... You get the good stuff!
