When Inwas younger, I had the pleasure of visiting England as part of a mission trip. While I was there, I met a deaf woman and was amazed at how easily we were able to communicate even though I knew ASL and she knew BSL. They are distinctly different....but we were able to effectively communicate and I enjoyed learning a little BSL. Good luck on your journey! Sign language is something that benefits the whole community.
