All my investments in crypto are with discretionary funds, which follows the rule "don't invest what you can't afford to lose".  But the end goal of the investments is to have those funds to travel and enjoy retirement.  After working 30 years for the postal service, I retired at age 58 and have that worry - what if my retirement funds don't live as long as I do?  So crypto investments let me have extra money to travel and enjoy a few things without dipping into that retirement fund.
