See it this way. 

There are play to earn games where gamers earn rewards from playing games, and we have content creation such as blogging which we do on platforms like Hive. 

For blogging, you are not guaranteed of what you will earn. You may write a beautiful article but in the end you will earn few cents. 

For play to earn games , once you buy the right weapons , seed , cards , etc. You are certain of earning rewards. 


So, the discussion goes thus, 

What do you think will be the fate of content creation in future, considering the possibility of a turn towards play to earn games  where earning is somewhat assured. 

As a content creator, do you think that the earning system of play to earn games is better than blogging? .

Some are making $30,000 per month in that playtoearn project
Avaxtars a game under a avalanche people are earning huge
and if you have to make that huge money in hive even staking $1 million dollars for 1 month won't make you that money talkless of just writing content

Most played to earn game at too cost and that is the disadvantage of playtoearn but content creation can be done even without having anything but the earning is getting difficult and little

Outside this, you raised an important topic here. I also have observed that most play-to-earn games demand gamers to spend money before they can utilize the full services of the gaming platform. This is another challenge with play to earn gaming

Partially right 
This doesn't apply to all content creation project and all playtoearn project.
I have come across many low cost playtoearn and cost content creation.
If hive is $100 then it would be hard to engage in hive due to resource credit
