Agreed. I can never bring myself to respect or like people who take themselves too seriously. I remember, we had this friend with an extremely backward dad who didn't know his son was friends with us, and then one day confiscated all his belongings and put him on lockdown when he found out that we were from a nation that opposed his own (or at least wasn't too friendly with), and because we were apparently a bad influence on him. When I tried to hold a reasonable discussion with the man over phone, trying to explain that there was no need of this pointless acrimony, he told me to shut up and respect him cause he was said friend's father. Because that was such a pertinent argument in favour of me entailing him my respect. The fact that he was unfathomably rude and verbally abused every single one of us, my girl included didn't help.

Needless to say, we didn't speak again thereafter.

By the way, I'm making a post stating my insights and ideas about something I observed on Steemit recently, while on your 'plea post'. Hopefully it'll serve to publicize your matter a bit more and get you what you need, as well as raise awareness on some issues I noted in the comments thread of that post, as well as just about Steemit in general. I think it'll be a good piece of work.
