Love Thy Neighbor is the Christian ideal. Unfortunately, as @chbartist puts it, we cannot achieve that till we have learnt to self-love. There is a sure way to achieve self-love, the methods espoused by the Masters for self-realization. These methods (employed to self-realize) also leads to self-love. There are many but the foremost of them is meditation. It cleanses our unconscious mind burdened with the devils - fear, self-pity, jealousy, hatred, anger, greed etc. There can be no self-love until we have cleansed our mind of these poisons. I am not sure about your statement, "..all religion teach to love one another..". This is another misconception held by a large number of people who don't read about other religions and simply repeat what they believe to be true.
