@benadam, the nature of your dreams tells a lot about the state of bewilderment your mind finds itself in. I understand the situation and wish you to be able to find and make the time necessary to your own bliss, everyone wins from experiencing you in such states. Life is full and fast, a blur really when we don't rush as slowly as we can and the plate overfills constantly leaving us trying to juggle our daily tasks with hands that seemingly can't take any more. The spilling over is out of control, understandably. I wish for life to slow down for you, as it seems beyond your own capacity to slow it down. Life is like this sometimes, I know and feel for you in this situation.

To be able to deal with this in the first place, means that you are a very strong person with a lot of will. Thus, this will can be applied to the practice of lucid dreaming too!  :)  In itself, it is a very good news. I pointed out that it is preferable to be well rested to start the practice, but sheer will can achieve it too. It seems to be the path you can take.

Using the dream calling mantra to see them, then to remember them will go a long way in experiencing the dreams in much more fullness. Let me know how it works for you o the long run.  I wouldn't be surprised to read that you are starting to have a much fuller experience, maybe even some definition and, eventually, colours in them too!
