I simply cannot imagine owning another person or treating other humans like less than animals.  It is almost unfathomable to me, even though I know it has happened. I was not part of that past though and I can't do anything about it today. I can't be held accountable for something I didn't do. I can however, make sure I am not part of carrying it forward.  I think I am doing a good job of it. 🙂
