Your reply led to a response from @valued-customer which really made me think too. This sort of thing is what makes Steemit great. Thanks again.

You make excellent points here.  I strongly agree with almost all you say.

However, there is some stuff missing, and amongst that is the fact that there are at least two classes of people that will not oppose the extant regime: those incapable of understanding their manufactured world view is imposed on them, and those that want it to be this way (not to mention those that make it this way).  

These two groups will actively oppose truth seekers, such as OP, and need to be treated accordingly.  They also make up a sufficient portion of the population that they preclude a critical mass of dissenters in agreement with a given solution ( 'The Life of Brian' lampooned this tendency of dissenters to fractionate into groups incapable of coordinating opposition to the point that such fractionation is a strategy used by TPTB to make dissent itself a weapon against revolution (astroturfing, saboteurs, etc...)).

Another matter is a strategy to successfully overthrow the extant regime.  I espouse the BTC strategy, which is to replace the financial structure underpinning the power of the psychopaths with a better one.  This strategy can be, and is applied, in other ways as well, in police power, military might, civil authority, etc...  

As the wealth that fractional reserve banking creates in this world is validated by every transaction undertaken in the structure, with the currencies it is based on, and is dependent entirely upon this validation, BTC (or various other potential currencies) and the financial structure that bypasses the kleptocracy undermines the presumed value of the wealth stolen over centuries.

There is a danger that BTC was created as a 'false flag', so BTC should not be the only currency (nor the financial structure it potentiates) that is used.  KYC regs, in fact, strongly point to this being either the situation, or adoptable by TPTB.  

I have devised a structure that isn't susceptible to KYC, and that cannot be adapted by TPTB (I hope).  Presently I am unable to ascertain whether BTC is in fact a tool of TPTB, but I see it is susceptible to centralization and control, which makes it, alone, inadequate to the task.

Even if BTC can be adopted by TPTB, it will diminish the wealth in extant currencies, and thus still diminish the power of the kleptocracy.

The beauty of attacking the financial structure first is that it requires no 'true believers' in the extant system to agree to attack the system, as most of them are incapable of even perceiving that BTC is an attack.  Part of how they are entrained to support TPTB is avarice, and that is why they can be used against TPTB, even if it isn't what they intend to do.

Whether you find this a sound strategy or not, you might agree that your response lacked the solution to the problem, and that relying on a critical mass of dissent to enable armed resistance is futile, because it is exactly such revolutionary fervor that is used by TPTB to coopt resistance and simply assert control over the new governance setup, after profiting from the violence revolution engenders (see Bolshevism, Nazis, etc.)

Knowing is useless, as OP's gf points out, and this is the basis of learned helplessness, unless it results in the ability to act on that knowledge.
