This is quite interesting. Can I do any of this without downloading an application? I actually need a way to create email accounts as quick as possible but I find this interesting and would like to try it. I use a windows 8 system but it is not currently connected to an internet service.

Linux is not an application, it is an open-source operating systems. Your operating system is Windows 8, so no. The things I explained is NOT to create **email accounts**, it is for sending emails messages, same way you can send them from your Gmail or desktop program, just without any of that.
