I have not used steemit in over a year, and have no idea what you see there now. Yes, you can look at an unfiltered feed on steempeak. Few like to do that. This effort is not about the feed. It is about the rewards. So if you post to the two particular tags paired, you would get rewards from both if you get curated.

I have no idea of the meaning of the word. It is a name. The idea of the tag is to be  inclusive. All of this is new - about two months old as you are. The token thing just started and we are in the wild, wild west. At this  point, Terry decided to open the door to anything and later will refine.

Both. The biggest issue now is hundreds of posts per day with few curators to handle the flow.
