I'm just going to engage your content this time, [@chbartist](https://steemit.com/@chbartist).

Let us begin shall we?

> Have you ever considered the true weight of noble deeds that we perform in our lifetime? How does that affect our personality and our fate?

These are rhetorical questions I assume? Yes, I have. Before God, they amount to nil for righteousness exists in His person and His death alone.

Doesn't matter how many old ladies you help across the street or how many kittens you pull from a burning building.

It doesn't stack up to the God man on the cross and it never could.

> Their eternal rhythm of nobility versus greed, sacrifice versus selfishness, and virtue versus sin is what defines the fate of the world.

> But on the other side of the coin, there are people who believe that the world is not just about light or darkness, but it is fundamentally grey; good deeds and evil acts are a part of us all, and we are the ones who decide what to do with either sides of our nature.

It seems you are juxtapositioning something of an absolute morality (black and white) vs a relative or more subjective version.

I will tell you. I believe in true or false. Right or wrong. There inescapable binaries of existence. Saved or lost. Alive or dead.

The flesh believes in almost good enough or gray in terms of morality but I tell you. The good book doesn't leave room for that. There are goats and sheep. Wheat and tares. The righteous and self-righteous. On that terrible day, such will be revealed.

Don't get me wrong. It's great to help people but do you believe the motives of one's heart does not matter? According to Christian theology at least, it does.

_1 Samuel 16:7 KJVS But the Lord said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the Lord seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart._

If so, that is where we diverge. I will leave you a verse to maybe peruse at your leisure. May God give light.

_Matthew 23:5 KJVS But all their works they do for to be seen of men: they make broad their phylacteries, and enlarge the borders of their garments,_
