Thanks for the tips.  As new users are entering the steemit matrix, it is thoughtful of you to point them in the right direction.  When I first started on steemit, I kind of just jumped right in, which has it's good and bad.  

If I hit a replay button, I'd do more research on getting started and read more posts like this one.  In addition, I would entertain a variety of advice on how to accrue more followers.  I'm still kind of all over the place, but at least I'm less spammy, haha.  

It's good to set personal goals in one's steemit activity.  I started making steemit to-do lists: 
* Daily 
* Weekly 
* Monthly

<h4>Being productive on here includes:</h4>
* Upvoting things you read and like
* Replying to posts
* Resteeming Posts
* Trying different [looks on syntax style](https://guides.github.com/features/mastering-markdown/)

So submitting a story is just one aspect of steemit to do's.  Essentially, you don't even have to post on here, and still have a pretty sweet page as a content curator.

Wow! Are you German, too?? Haha! Sorry for that one, but your approach is very analytical. 
To be honest, I haven't ever had any to do lists or strategy papers. However, the points you mention here are all true and important. With regards to the style (format), I think everybody has to find their own one. There is no right or wrong. You should meet some basic rules in order to assure a good reading flow (e.g. leaving spaces between preferably short parragraphs) and highlighting what should be seen first.

I think the most important part of all is the networking. Most people forget the social aspect which is key. They believe that they only need to create (what they consider) "good content", and then people will overrun their blogs... But it's not like that. 

Walking in the streets, how many strangers would tell you that your outfit is good looking? :-)

I'm American, however I do like all things German.  The language, the Art, the women, the beer, the food, the engineering.

I guess I do get emotional about math sometimes, so it's easy for me to over analyse.  

It'll be cool to see how steemit expands outside the screen.  Little Steemit parties popping off around the globe.  Can't wait.
