Looks like a "Cloud Forest". There were trees laden with lichens and moss
Near the top of Mt Lemmon outside Tucson Az, where the clouds so 
Frequently shroud the mountain top. Great stuff @ackhoo

Wow, that must be a great place to explore... This was advertised as a rainforest but cooler than what we have here in Malaysia

Wow! What a difference in the weather conditions... 

I'm guessing all those 'lessons' are all in the past now... Good for you!  Many people never learn, at all! So don't be too hard on yourself!  

That stunt in the second photo looks like a foolhardy stunt too... 🤦‍♀️
