I think its a great app. My thought on this is: rather than trying to equal or surpass the achievement of YouTube, why not create a niche for themselves. The sky is big for all to occupy. I think this is one of the fundamental problem here on steem, we are trying to copy or model our activities to meet the standard of existing social platform. We need to have a clear cut plan and an ideology which we can sustain. It is not about growing big but have a strong ideology can define and redefine overtime.</p><p>Dtube for me is a platform that gives ordinary people a voice. Its not about your followings or hype. So I think that's a solid ideology to define.</p><p>But going further I think having or creating an app will be great. Having a unique identity would also be great. It doesn't have to look anything like youtube.
