Which car manufacturer do you see as the main competitor for Tesla in ten years from now?","appBody":"<p>People still ride horses even after mass adoption of cars. </p><p>We don't rely on horses to transport goods anymore.</p><p>We're keeping them to satisfy out vanity. </p><p>They are a status symbol. </p><p>A hobby.</p><p>Well, the same will become of gasoline/petrol cars. </p><p>The mass adoption of electric car may reduce those to a niche use, not really good for anything but show.</p><p>But they would still exist and function. </p><p>And for what it counts, I predict, there will not be a time where we use only electric cars.</p><p>Likely, those would have to compete with hydrogen combustion engines of some sort.</p><p>Much like some forms of electicity sources, there are possible cheap and renewable sources of hydrogen.</p>","appDepth":2,"appParentPermlink":"pkbnajtyq","appParentAuthor":"acesontop","musingAppId":"aU2p3C3a8N","musingAppVersion":"1.1","musingPostType":"answer"}" |
