<p>On average I watch less than hour of TV a day. &nbsp;Most days I'm only turning it on to watch/listen to a local newscast, or occasionally a national newscast or a sporting event for about 15-20 minutes at a time.</p>
<p>The main reason I don't watch TV more frequently is because of all the time taken up by advertisements. &nbsp;Here in America, the typical 30-minute show is really only 22 minutes of programming and 8 minutes of ads, while a 60-minute show would be 48 minutes of programming and 12 minutes of ads (+/- up to 2 minutes, depending on the show). &nbsp;I generally don't care for advertising on TV, and far more often than not the ads are extremely annoying.</p>
<p>In addition, if there was a TV show that I really wanted to watch, I could go online and the particular episode would be up somewhere on the Internet, within 24 hours of its initial broadcast. &nbsp;So patience can pay off in the form of less time wasted watching ads (and thus less time to fully watch a TV episode).</p>

<p>Television viewing is almost a tradition in every home that can afford one. </p><p>I use to be a big fan of the TV in my childhood days , but with the greater shift into technolog, I lost interest in television viewing. </p><p>These days, television is only of interest to me when I have soccer games to watch especially club side competitions like the LALIGA and UEFA competitions .</p><p>Asides these, I  spend about 4-6 hours a week on TV viewing. </p><p>I really don't have to watch TV you know, I could get all the information I need on my smartphone.</p><p>I only watch the TV so I wouldn't be viewed as weird. 😂  </p>

<p>I don't really watch TV at all. Sometimes I watch documentaries on Hulu, or some seasons of shows I find interesting, but it doesn't appeal to me to watch much at all, and I think the reason why is I think allot, and I don't feel like I have enough time to complete everything, both physical and mental.</p>
<p>I kind of wish sometimes that TV appealed to me more, but hey it is what it is.&nbsp;</p>

<p>There was a time when I used to watch a lot of TV.&nbsp;</p>
<p>However, as I grew up I realized that I had already seen almost everything. Even if a new show came out, &nbsp;it often had the same theme as an older show that I'd watched years ago.</p>
<p>Nowadays I would much rather read a book then watch a TV show. Occasionally, &nbsp;I will watch a good movie, but when it comes to watching TV I think you're much better off with a good book. A book will usually provide new experiences while a TV show is generally retreading on the past in some shape or form.</p>

<p>A little too much! I would probably estimate that I watch TV for between one and two hours ever y day. It's a big time waster, so I would love to get rid of this habit, but it's also a great way to relax after a long day.&nbsp;</p>
