People aren't stupid to not notice you want their upvotes. </p>\n<p>I follow and interact with them based from the topics they create that comes by my interest. It's a bonus if they are socially inclined to get involved with the latest news on the blockchain. I get more info indirectly from their resteems. I can understand the logic behind being selective about the people you interact with.
