| json_metadata | "{"app":"Musing","appTags":["Question",""],"appCategory":"Question","appTitle":"How can we identify a true man of God?","appBody":"<p>Well, this is a very interesting question.</p><p>It's very important to identify if the Man of God you are under in your church is really a true Man of God because today we have so many fake pastors and prophets whose priorities are to extort money from people and mislead people through fake visions.</p><p>Jesus warn us to be careful that some prophet who are wolves will come like sheep to deceive christains.</p><p>And also he said that by their fruits you shall know them.</p><p>There are many ways to know if a man of God is fake or real.</p><p>A true Man of God must have the spirit of God in him, you have to learn how to discern the right spirit.</p><p>A true Man of must possess the following according to the scripture below;</p><p>1 Timothy 3:2 A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach; 3:3 Not given to wine, no striker, not greedy of filthy lucre; but patient, not a brawler, not covetous; 3:4 One that ruleth well his own house, having his children in subjection with all gravity; 3:5 (For if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God?) 3:6 Not a novice, lest being lifted up with pride he fall into the condemnation of the devil. 3:7 Moreover he must have a good report of them which are without; lest he fall into reproach and the snare of the devil.</p><p>These are some of the attributes a true Man of God must possess based on God's word</p>","appDepth":2,"appParentPermlink":"f3y468l95","appParentAuthor":"akaola","musingAppId":"aU2p3C3a8N","musingAppVersion":"1.1","musingPostType":"answer"}" |
