I eat much Protein and Carbo, with moderate activity but never added a kilogram for Years Why?
<p>You must be making a mistake in calorie intake.</p>
<p>If the calories entering your body are more than the calories you burn, you gain weight. That's the main logic. You must be patient in this process.</p>
<p>One of my friends was complaining about this problem. When I asked him, he said didn't count calories. He said I was eating too much like you . I told him to count calories for a week. The calories it took during the week was about 2000. But he need to 2500 for gain weight.</p>
<p>You can easily calculate the calories calculators in internet . I recommend you to fatsecret about it. You can calculate the needed calorie for gain weight within the application. You can also track the calories , macros and micros . If you are unable to gain weight even in the calories you are targeting, increase your calorie goal to 300-500.</p>
<p>You may need to consume more calories to gain weight. In this case, you can eat small volume and high calorie foods. Olive oil and nuts are the highest calorie foods.</p>
<p>Make sure you can do sports while trying to get weight. If you do not do sports, the weight you receive is stored as fat. If you do sports, you also gain muscle mass.</p>

You also wrote " if you do sport , you gain muscle mass" . Does it mean then that Calories (Carbs) can be stored PROTEIN, since muscle mass is made of Protein predominantly??

<p>Sorry , I wrote it wrong . I was gonna say " gain weight " . I will edit that now.</p><p>If you don't eat enough protein every day , you can't gain muscle mass. Even if you consume too many calories. Also you need to do sports because muscles should be damaged to renew as larger. Weight lifting sports are best about it. Generally carbs are eaten for complete the daily needed calorie.</p>
