Because every religion, including Christianity, does not allowed do sin. Basically the teachings brought by Jesus are in the Gospels. To my knowledge that there are prohibitions in Christian teachings, such as adultery, drinking liquor, gambling, and others.
\n
It is not much different from Islam, only that distinguishes Islam and Christianity from faith in Jesus. Muslims recognize and believe Jesus as a Prophet and Apostle not as God. Here lies the difference between Islam and Christianity.
\n
So therefore I do not think that the biblical authority gives freedom to sin.
\n

","appDepth":2,"appParentPermlink":"fk7dcgezq","appParentAuthor":"alaisguineasis","musingAppId":"aU2p3C3a8N","musingAppVersion":"1.1","musingPostType":"answer"}"

I can't say the grace given to men(and not just christians) gives them liberty to commit sin but it gave men such a divine influence of being forgiven after a sin unlike the old where sin resulted to an instant death.

Jesus death gave men such Grace and men has abused it, because they continue to sin hoping that the Grace abound. The purpose of Grace in the life of christians is to build them up toward perfection as they seek forgiveness for their unwilling sins.

The consequence of sin still remains death, but then God's grace had served as a divine influence for men to intercede and prevent an instant wrath of God
","appDepth":2,"appParentPermlink":"fk7dcgezq","appParentAuthor":"alaisguineasis","musingAppId":"aU2p3C3a8N","musingAppVersion":"1.1","musingPostType":"answer"}"
